About the SASEA Platform
The SASEA platform, established in 2023 as a collaborative framework for South and Southeast Asian countries, initially focused on broad initiatives and shared goals.
However, the diverse challenges faced by member nations, such as socio-economic disparities, climate vulnerability, and health crises, highlighted the need for clear and well-defined strategic objectives. These objectives are essential for aligning the platform’s efforts with the specific needs of each country, optimizing resource allocation, and effectively measuring progress.
The SASEA platform currently comprises five members: Yayasan Peduli Hati Bangsa in Indonesia, TREATAsia, and the Institute of HIV Research and Innovation in Thailand, along with the Community Network for Empowerment (CoNE) and the Delhi Network of Positive People (DNP+) in India.
These organizations are deeply rooted in their communities and play a vital role in advocating for health equity and providing essential services. Through partnerships, knowledge exchange, and advocacy efforts, the SASEA platform strives to enhance the effectiveness of interventions and drive positive change across the region.
