The SASEA platform

Established in 2023 as a collaborative framework for South and Southeast Asian countries, initially focused on broad initiatives and shared goals.

However, the diverse challenges faced by member nations, such as socio-economic disparities, climate vulnerability, and health crises, revealed the need for clear and well-defined strategic objectives.

These objectives are essential for aligning the platform’s efforts with the specific needs of each country, optimizing resource allocation, and effectively measuring progress.

Coalition Plus, an international network headquartered in Paris

This prestigious alliance, comprised of 16 member organizations and supported by 10 influential platforms/networks, is dedicated to championing the health and rights of key populations affected by HIV and Hepatitis. With a collaborative presence in 53 countries and engagement with over 100 partner organizations, Coalition Plus wields a significant global influence, driving impactful initiatives to support those most affected by HIV and Hepatitis worldwide.

Community Network for Empowerment

Community Network for Empowerment (CoNE) is a network of community-based organisations/groups of people who use drugs (PUDs) in Manipur state, India. The network was officially launched in June 2011 and its mission is to promote a self-sustainable network owned by PUDs that works for reduction in stigma, harassment and discrimination of PUDs, as well as to improve their standard of living.

The Dehli Network of Positive People

Delhi Network of Positive People (DNP+) aims to improve the treatment and facilities for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV). DNP+ provides a platform to help empower patients to make informed treatment decisions at every stage of the HIV trajectory.

Over the years their work has grown and expanded from being a support group to now providing service delivery and advocating human rights. The organization strives to give back to society what it has received. DNP+ wants PLHIV to be active participants in their recovery and to use to the fullest extent the benefits which they have received. DNP+ believes it is not only their responsibility to give back to the community, but an honour for them to further the cause.

Institute of HIV Research and Innovation

Institute of HIV Research and Innovation (IHRI) is a non-profit organization, located in Bangkok, Thailand. With almost two decades of experience working in research and sexual health programs, the organization is recognized for its expertise both at the national and international level. IHRI provides advance clinical and implementation research on HIV and other health-related issues as well as strengthening the capacity of community health workers and health care providers, while fostering partnership with other health sector entities.

We collaborate with governments, health networks, international organizations, local and international civil society organizations to address health issues in the region focusing on sexual health. IHRI is also a learning hub to translate evidenced-based, innovative knowledge into improvements of health policies and practices.

Treat Asia - amfAR

Established in 2001, TREAT Asia (Therapeutics Research, Education, and AIDS Training in Asia) is a collaborative network of clinics, hospitals, research institutions, and civil society that is working to ensure the safe and effective delivery of HIV treatments to adults and children across the Asia-Pacific through:

TREAT Asia’s unique capacity to bring together researchers, doctors, activists, advocates, and policymakers plays an important role in the region’s response to HIV, and it has become a model for regional collaboration on HIV/AIDS. Its members study optimal approaches to treating HIV, common co-infections, and comorbid conditions among adults and children, particularly in resource-limited settings. It regularly hosts workshops and develops and distributes educational materials to provide clinicians and community advocates with the knowledge they need to better address the epidemic within their own country contexts.

TREAT Asia also plays a key advocacy role in the region, using data gathered through the network and its research, to make the case for evidence-based HIV-related policy and programming.

Malaysian AIDS Council

Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) was established in 1992 as an umbrella organisation to support and coordinate the efforts of non-governmental and other organisations working on HIV/AIDS issues in Malaysia. MAC works in partnership with government agencies, the private sector and international organisations to ensure a committed and effective response to HIV/AIDS issues in Malaysia.

Besides coordinating and streamlining the programmes of its Partner Organisations, the MAC Secretariat also provides these organisations with the necessary training, funds and other resources to implement effective HIV/AIDS programmes within various communities in Malaysia.

Yayasan Peduli Hati Bangsa

Yayasan Peduli Hati Bangsa is a non-profit organization from and for people living and affected by Viral Hepatitis and HIV. Our organization is registered in the Republic of Indonesia under No AHU-0016435.AH.01.04. 2019.

This organization was formed to raise awareness about the Hepatitis and HIV Virus in Indonesia and to educate and increase access to the general public about the diagnosis and treatment options available in Indonesia through advocacy and evidence informed programs. We also provide psychosocial support services for infected and affected family members.
