Labuang Baji Hospital in Makassar, South Sulawesi, has released its 2024 Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) findings, capturing feedback from 172 people living with HIV (April–December 2024). Implemented by Peduli Hati Bangsa with support from SASEA Partnership Platform and amfAR’s TREAT Asia, this initiative evaluates HIV services using the AAAQ framework (Accessibility, Acceptability, Availability, Affordability, Quality).
Key Findings:

- 91% satisfaction with operating hours and schedule adherence
- Only 2% reported consistently long wait times
- 96% felt staff availability met patient needs
- Delays primarily attributed to high patient volume (97%)
✅ Acceptability
- 99% reported no stigma or discrimination
- 87% confident in confidentiality maintenance
✅ Availability & Prevention
- 100% received clear explanation of test results
- 95% awareness of index testing
- 92% counseled on family testing needs
- 91% of women informed about mother-to-child transmission prevention
- 77% on Dolutegravir-based regimen (TLD)
- Zero medication stockouts reported
✅ Affordability
- 99% incurred no out-of-pocket expenses

Labuang Baji Hospital demonstrates excellence in operational reliability, stigma reduction, and treatment accessibility. The facility maintains strong service delivery despite high patient volume. Opportunities exist to strengthen confidence in confidentiality protocols and expand DTG-based regimen adoption.
