Community-Led Monitoring Shows High Satisfaction with HIV Services at Pengayoman Hospital, Jakarta

Pengayoman Hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia, has released its 2024 Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) findings, capturing feedback from 101 people living with HIV (April–December 2024). Implemented by Peduli Hati Bangsa with support from SASEA Partnership Platform and amfAR’s TREAT Asia, this initiative evaluates HIV services using the AAAQ framework (Accessibility, Acceptability, Availability, Affordability, Quality).

Key Findings:
✅ Accessibility

  • 100% satisfaction with waiting times
  • Strong service efficiency despite 66% requesting extended operating hours
  • 82% unaware of official opening/closing times

✅ Acceptability

  • 100% reported no stigma or discrimination
  • 98% confidence in confidentiality maintenance

✅ Availability & Prevention

  • 100% received clear explanation of test results
  • 100% counseled on family testing needs
  • 100% of women informed about mother-to-child transmission prevention
  • 86% initiated/switched to Dolutegravir-based regimen (TLD)
  • Zero reports of medication stockouts

✅ Affordability

  • 99% incurred no out-of-pocket expenses

Pengayoman Hospital demonstrates excellence in stigma reduction, wait-time management, and treatment accessibility.
